Ethics a key focus for equity release advice

New entrants to the equity release sector need to be focused on delivering a first class service in an ethical manner, according to Bridgewater Equity Release.

Knowledge, skills and expertise were also outlined as vital skills in the equity release market, which has suffered from a bad reputation in the past. The firm says there is a growing interest among advisers in equity release as a business opportunity, saying there were large numbers of advisers attending equity release seminars at last week’s Mortgage Business Expo.
