ABI launches fund info site for advisers

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) and Financial Express have launched a web page to help financial advisers identify funds with similar investment strategies.

The page provides information on the ABI Sectors which classify life and pension funds. The launch follows improvements made to the ABI Sectors last year, which included adding extra fund categories. Maggie Craig, the ABI’s director of Life and Savings, says: “The revised ABI Sectors have improved the way in which funds are classified and will help investors and their advisers to identify similar funds. The new web site provides a definitive list of comparable funds and is a positive move for advisers and investors.” Advisers can access the page through the ABI’s homepage. To comment on...
