Clumsy FTSE slips on oil again!

In the UK stocks have fallen, paced by energy companies including BP and BG Group as oil trades near a three-week low.

The FTSE 100 Index of leading shares has slipped 26.60 points, or 0.5%, to 5348.5 so far this morning. BP, Europe's biggest oil company, has lost 7.5p, or 1.2%, to 631.5p. BG, the U.K.'s third-biggest oil company, slid 7.5p, or 1.5%, to 510p. Allergy Therapeutics has added 3p, or 2.7%, to 113.5p. The UK vaccine maker said this morning fiscal full-year sales climbed 20%. British Energy Group has dropped 14p, or 3%, to 458p. The UK’s No.1 electricity producer said shutdowns at its Hartlepool and Heysham nuclear reactors will be longer than planned. Friends Provident has increased ...
