The FSA has issued a consumer warning about a Kent adviser accused of doctoring mortgage and insurance applications.
It says it has reason to believe a Mr Charalambous, listed in Sidcup as The Financial Associate (TFA), applied, on at least one occasion, for an advance on a mortgage application which was in excess of the client's requirements. The advance was not paid to the client, it claims, adding Charalambous may also have applied for life assurance policies without his clients' knowledge or consent.
