Sesame launches free tax planning seminars

Demand for guidance on tax planning has prompted IFA support firm Sesame to launch a series of free seminars for advisers to run throughout September.

The firm says a study conducted with 450 advisers by Sesame Learning suggests 43% believe the biggest barrier to IHT planning was their lack of technical knowledge on the subject. In addition, 36% of IFAs said they felt it was their clients’ unwillingness to address issues surrounding mortality that was the greatest hurdle to overcome.
