The government has released details of home information packs due to be introduced to the housing market next summer.
The details of the regulations regarding what information the packs will contain were laid before Parliament yesterday with housing minister Yvette Cooper, and consumer affairs minister Ian McCartney setting out a three-way strategy to overhaul home buying in England and Wales involving home information packs, local searches, e-conveyancing and stronger redress against estate agents and others when things go wrong.
