Interactive Investor is to reintroduce independent advisory services, three years after severing a partnership with Towry Law.
The company ceased to offer its customers a financial planning and advice facility in 2001, when Interactive Investor was acquired by AMP and integrated into its online fund supermarket, Ample. AMP has since sold Ample as part of its decision to pull out of the UK, and Tomas Carruthers has regained ownership, revitalised the Interactive Investor brand and reprised his role as chief executive of the business.
