MortgageStream users to pay less for PI Insurance

MortgageStream mortgage case management software has worked out a deal with Lloyd's of London insurance broker PYV, which reduces the professional indemnity insurance (Pii) premiums for intermediaries who use the broker.

The deal will mean IFA that use MortgageStream and who purchase their Pii cover from PYV will qualify for a preferential rate on their annual insurance. All new and existing PYV clients will automatically qualify for an introductory discount off the annual license fee for MortgageStream also. Simon Lovat, assistant director at PYV, says the Lloyds broker recognises that an intermediary who uses a dedicated mortgage and general insurance case management system is able to demonstrate a fully compliant audit trail.
