City bonuses are likely to be spent on property investments, despite a gloomy outlook in the financial and property markets, according to experts from The Homebuyer Show.

City executives are expected to spend their Christmas bonuses on property, particularly overseas property, rather than splashing out on luxuries. The global credit crunch has caused a number of major financial institutions to make major write downs worth billions of pounds and the bonuses paid to their staff are likely to be much lower than in recent years.
