Former IFA to become SHIP director

Andrea Rozario, a founder of equity release IFA firm Rozario Harris and Co, is to become the first full-time director general of Safe Home Income Plans (SHIP), the industry body for the equity release sector.

Rozario has almost 15 years of experience in the financial services, with both CeMAP and CeRER qualifications and three financial planning certificates. She founded Rozario Harris and Co in July 2004 as an IFA specialising in whole of market, equity release advice. SHIP says Rozario is well known in the equity release sector and has recently called for a correct media portrayal of the equity release industry on Tonight with Trevor McDonald.
