Most intermediaries taking TCF seriously says Ami

The vast majority of intermediaries are now either ‘very aware' or ‘aware' of the Financial Services Authority's treating customers fairly initiative, according to the latest survey from the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (Ami).

Ami says 95% of respondents to its monthly poll said they were well-acquainted with the initiative -an improvement on research conducted by the Association last this time last year which revealed 86% were either very aware ar at least aware. The proportion of intermediaries claiming to have no knowledge of the treating customers fairly initiative has gone from 5% to zero this year, Ami adds.
