Group 300 has become the second independent distributor signed to the wrap platform developed by American Express, following a similar agreement with IFA Thinc announced last month.
The deal means Amex’ “Adviser Service” platform will be used to offer “additional” value added services to Group 300’s registered advisers and clients. Amex earlier this year identified the type of IFA businesses it would want to work with as being early adopters of post-de-polarisation business models and commitment to IT solutions for boosting business efficiencies. ”During our discussions, we have been particularly impressed by its compliance and business controls achieved through state-of-the-art technology,” Amex says of its reasons for working with Group 300.
