UCB cuts rates and rental cover

UCB Home Loans has cut rates across its buy-to-let range having recently reduced its rental coverage requirements it was announced today.

Rental cover calculations were changed last month to 110% of base rate +0.5%, while new rate changes take effect from today. Buy-to-let deals are available from 5.98% for the two-year and three-year fixed rate deals with a £1,995 fee and 85% LTV. The equivalent five-year fixed rate starts from 5.95%. Only the ten-year buy-to-let rate remains completely unchanged.
