Advisers to get better deals on PI

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) and independent Lloyds broker, PYV, have today announced they will team up to help IFAs, mortgage intermediaries and general insurance brokers get better deals on professional indemnity insurance.

PYV says it will use 20 years of experience in the professional indemnity insurance industry, along with exclusive deals with Lloyds’ market and company insurers, to get the best deal for IFAs. Sue Arden, head of operations at the PFS, says: “We are delighted to have enlisted the support of one of the best known and most established PI providers in the market.” PFS says it feels market conditions are currently favourable for firms to push PI products but says PYV’s experience will be invaluable should conditions deteriorate.
