The average price of property sales completed was £175,401 between April and June 2004, compared with £149,935 in the same period in 2003, says the Land Registry.
These prices related to the 299,986 properties sold across England and Wales, more than the 245,632 sold in April and June 2003, according to the latest Residential Property Price Report (for April – June 2004) from the Land Registry. London scored the highest property price rise, up by £33,721 to an average price of £280,431. However the next highest average price rises were in the North West and Wales with prices up £26,007 and £27,142 respectively.
