FSA announces chairs of retail distribution review

The Financial Services Authority has announced which industry figures will lead the working groups of its retail distribution review, launched in June last year.

The review aims to identify and address the root causes of problems which continue to emerge in the retail investment market. The five themes to be addressed, and the chairs of each group, are: Sustainability of the distribution sector: Jo Dawson, chief executive of the insurance and investment division at HBOS Group; Impact of incentives: Mike Yardley, group chief executive of the Royal London Group; Professionalism and reputation: Roderic Rennison, group corporate director at Thinc Group; Consumer access to financial products and services: Otto Thorensen, chief executive of Aeg...
