Wrap platform acquires pensions planner

Wrap platform developer DSTi has acquired Pensions and Actuarial Services (PAS) to add pensions planning and calculations software to its solutions suite for UK financial advisers.

PAS’ systems are used by more than half of all IFAs, with access through the Exchange and Bankhall portals, DSTi states. It is also used by many insurers, banks and building societies. DSTi says adding PAS to its wrap solution will boost its front end for IFAs, in terms of providing quotations, calculations and illustrations relevant to pensions, while giving its overall wrap proposition a boost in the market.
