AIFA appoints new policy director

Andrew Strange has been appointed policy director for the Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) it was announced today.

Strange has worked as senior policy analyst for AIFA since April 2007 and will take up his new position on 23 June. As part of the role, Strange will work closely with director general Chris Cummings and AIFA’s council to formulate legislative, regulatory and technical policy, as well as working on responses to Government and regulatory consultations. He will also have responsibility for policy development at the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and the Association of Finance Brokers (AFB).
