Bright Grey launches underwriting guide for IFAs

Protection firm Bright Grey has developed an underwriting guide for advisers in the hopes it will both speed up the underwriting process and make it easier to understand.

According to the Edinburgh-based company, the guide will also help IFAs to manage clients’ expectations of the outcome of any possible future claims. The guide gives "hints and tips" on how to fill out an application form and set out guidelines for specific medical conditions. Moreover, it describes the different types of evidence needed as well as the limits for medical and financial underwriting.
