PMPA launches Unity Homeloans

The Professional Mortgage Packagers Alliance (PMPA) has this morning announced the launch of a lender designed to deliver mortgage products specifically though its own membership.

Unity Homeloans Limited is a joint initiative with international specialist banking group, Investec, the specialist banking group jointly listed on both the London and South African Stock Exchanges and parent company of Infinity Mortgages. PMPA has also revealed some of the concerns that may have led it to enter into a joint venture with Investec saying: ”Unity Homeloans provides a natural hedge to PMPA members against the continual attack on their market by a smaller number of mortgage lenders, whilst still enabling continuation of business with those mortgage lenders who actively suppor...
