Setting up personal accounts has already cost the taxpayer more than £6m, says Pensions Minister Mike O'Brien.
O’Brien confirmed the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) had spent £6,604,522 on personal accounts at the end of October last year. Answering a question in the House of Commons this week, O’Brien says: “The implementation of the personal accounts system has not yet started.
