Halifax offers legal services

Halifax has announced the launch of a new legal services arm.

The lender intends to offer several new legal services with partners HammondsDirect, First Assist, Epoq and Capita supported by its own in-house team. The launch of Halifax Legal Services follows on from the launch of its fixed fee conveyancing service in August 2005. Halifax Legal Solutions will provide access to legal products such as wills and expert legal advice. Customers using the service will pay an annual membership fee of £89.00.
