Burling to manage Gartmore retail Japanese funds

Gartmore is shuffling its funds and associated managers from June 1st, following a decision by existing Japanese manager Nick Reid to manage a hedge fund at RAB Capital.

Chris Burling, is extending his current role as senior investment manager of the global (Japanese) equities team – managing institutional mandates - to take over management of the Gartmore Japan Growth fund, the Gartmore SICAV Japanese fund, the Gartmore Capital Strategy Japan fund as well as working alongside Philip Ehrmann to co-manage the Gartmore Asia Pacific investment trust.
