Aegon partners Dunfermline on protection deal

Aegon has announced a new distribution deal with Dunfermline Building Society for its life assurance and protection products.

The partnership agreement will see Aegon’s products made available to Dunfermline’s 350,000 customers through its network of 34 branches and 38 agencies, alongside protection products from Norwich Union. Aegon says the arrangement represents a further step in its distribution development strategy, which aims to broaden the range of ways customers can access their products and services. The full product range, including life assurance, critical illness cover and income protection cover under the Aegon Scottish Equitable brand, will be available to Dunfermline customers from this week. ...
