The Council for the National Land Information Service (C-NLIS) was officially launched in London yesterday.
The CNLIS says it wants to be at the forefront of e-conveyancing and will manage the National Land Information Service (NLIS), which has been set up to support local authorities and other property information holders in England and Wales in their move from manual to electronic provision of property information services. The NLIS provides electronic access to all the official sources of land and property information, across the whole of England and Wales, via a number of competing channels.
