In the UK, the FTSE has started positively this morning adding 8.1 points to 4759 points, recording a gains for a third straight day.
The benchmark is paced by Pub chain Enterprise Inns up 18p to 681.50, followed by Prudential, up 8.25p to 442.25p. Cairn Energy has also recovered 23p from a 67p, or 4.4% loss yesterday to be at 1480p this morning. The country's largest publicly traded water company, United Utilities is on its way back down to earth shedding 10.5p to 404.5p after reaching 601p yesterday. Oil companies BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto have also lost ground declining 13p to 585.5p and 33p to 1488p. Crude oil has fallen below the $44 per barrel mark for the first time over two months.
