FSA appoints regulatory transactions director

The Financial Services Authority has appointed Lesley Titcomb as director of the regulatory transactions division.

The regulatory transactions division is responsible for the authorisation of firms in all sectors which want to do financial services business and the approval of individuals who wish to undertake certain functions in financial services firms. Titcomb joined the Securities & Investments Board, the predecessor to the FSA, in 1994 and since then she has held a range of posts covering both regulatory and operational issues at both SIB and FSA.
