Buy-to-let yields grow despite rate rise

Average rents have risen for the sixth consecutive month despite fears that the buy-to-let market will soon experience a downturn, according to Paragon.

A recent survey, conducted by Paragon, has revealed that Average rent in England and Wales was £9,665 in November last year, and has risen to £10,702 in May, a 10% increase. The research also revealed that 63% of residential property investors thought that tenant demand was either stable or growing and that they would be growing their buy-to-let portfolios.
