Bright Grey launches tele-underwriting service

Bright Grey, a protection specialist within the Royal London Group, has introduced a telephone interviewing process in a bid to save processing time and reduce non-disclosure.

The service, run in partnership with Medicals Direct Group, will allow the provider to gather medical evidence directly from clients as an alternative to requests for General Practitioner Reports (GPR). Where a GPR would currently be required for a particular condition, the client will now be contacted by phone and interviewed by a nurse from Medicals Direct. They will gather information at a convenient time for the client about their condition and any treatment they have had.
