In the UK, the FTSE 100 Index has recovered from losses made over the past two days, and is this morning led by GlaxoSmithKline.
The Benchmark has added 23.90 points to about 4727.10 points this morning, while drug maker GlaxoSmithKline has picked up 20p to 1121p after a broker upgrade. Pub chain, Enterprise Inns has also made a good start adding 9p to 692p. Mortgage firm, HBOS has also increased 9.50p to 742p. Steel firm Corus leads the drop shedding 0.75p to 54p, surrendering gains made late last week as a result of worldwide metal shortage supplies. Platinum-group metals distributor, Johnson Matthey has lost 10p to 1002.50p, while Associated British Foods has also dropped 10p to 738p. In Japan, stoc...
