House prices will experience a post election bump according to the latest research from Propertyfinder.com
The property search website claims property values experienced a slump ahead of the last four general elections only to increase significantly after the election had taken place. Volumes of houses sold were also weaker ahead of three out of the last five elections but recovered sharply soon after. Propertyfinder.com says their has been a dip in the potential housebuyer confidence due to uncertainty over the effect of the next general election.
