IFAs see poor returns from websites

The majority of IFAs receive low levels of enquiries from their websites, according to a poll.

More than 80% of the IFAs polled receive fewer than five enquiries a week from their sites and more than 90% receive fewer than 10 enquiries per week. The poll, conducted by IFA Life, an IFA internet forum, and IFA internet marketer Philip Calvert, shows just over half of IFAs said they rarely or never look at their website statistics. Just one IFA out of several hundred monitors his website statistics daily. The survey also shows many advisers believe older clients are not interested in the technology.
