FSA delays RDR findings

The FSA has delayed by a month the publication of its full feedback statement on the Retail Distribution Review (RDR).

It says the timetable shift will allow time for new FSA managing director for retail markets Jon Pain, who joins in September, to get fully up to speed on the review. The regulator hinted at a delay at its annual public meeting on 24 July. It adds those interested in the outcome of the review can rest assured the delay won’t “slow down the overall programme of work” on the RDR. The feedback statement will include the full feedback received during the discussion period along with the FSA's decisions on the future implementation of any regulatory changes coming out of the RDR, and the tim...
