Research by Scottish Widows reveals almost one in 10 women are secret savers, building a separate fund away from their partners as a way of securing a safe and independent financial future should anything go wrong. Anne Young, senior marketing manager at Scottish Widows, says in today’s ever changing society, jobs marriages and money come with no guarantees so planning ahead is essential for most women.
