AXA increases life cover age limit

AXA has increased the age limit on its life cover from 70 to 85, in response to changing social trends.

The provider noted advancements in medical science and standards of living have resulted in people living longer than ever before, with the need to protect themselves and their families for longer now paramount. Despite the increase in age limit, AXA said it will not cap its initial commission for clients whose length of cover takes them beyond the age of 75. Advisers will earn initial commission based on the full term of the policy.
