A book outlining the effects increased regulation is likely to have on mortgage IFAs has been launched by Chris Cummings.
The director general of trade body the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) says he hopes the guide, entitled ‘A Practitioner’s Guide to Mortgage Regulation’, will prove to be a “stake in the ground” for advisers. He adds the book will be handy for IFAs in a world where new sets of principles, such as treating customers fairly (TCF), are increasingly commonplace.
