HIPs need improving to meet consumer needs - Easier2Move

Making HIPs into a valuable product for consumers is the next step in the development of the product, according to Easier2Move director Robin Marcus.

Despite being out of the news headlines since rollout, Marcus says HIP implementation has gone smoothly but the product must now be developed to make the buying and selling process easier. “The challenge now is to make the HIP into a worthwhile product, rather than just something that is needed by law, so it can really speed up the sale process,” he says. The average time taken from when a customer pays for a HIP through to full delivery is between 20 and 25 days, according to Easier2Move, but Marcus says this time should be around ten working days to become truly valuable to customers....
