Cracking online service tackles tax leads

An online tax assessment service is being launched next month to help financial advisers and planners gain additional business from introducing their clients to a tax specialist.

Called TaxCracker, the service is offered by Vantis Tax planning Consultancy to highlight areas of a client’s finances or lifestyle planning where the intermediary might not be aware of potential tax efficiencies, as well as generate two new business ideas every month so the adviser has regular proposals to go back to the client with rather than simply conduct an annual review of their pension plan. Instead of handing tax planning business to a firm such as Vantis straight away, the online survey is initially anonymous so the adviser can see what changes the firm recommends before he cons...
