Back by popular demand, IFAonline is again offering a limited number of readers the chance to get their hands on a set of Top Trumps-style cards designed to help demystify critical illness (CI).

Designed by the Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) and based on the classic game, the cards include a number of key facts about some of Britain's biggest killers, including annual death rates. RGA says they can help insurers, advisers and consumers to understand the conditions covered by their CI policies. Each card contains a number of statistics about the various illnesses, along with simple descriptions of each condition.
