Portfolio Balancer is the name of Winterthur Life's new planning and asset allocation tool for intermediaries, which uses stochastic modelling to analyse outcomes of investment decisions.

An additional capability of the tool is the ability to transact units online – buying, selling and balancing. Winterthur is offering IFAs the opportunity to discuss the tool as well as pensions simplification at a series of workshops.
