Housing slowdown prompts investment overseas

UK property investors are considering buying property overseas as the housing market in the UK starts to slow down, says a survey of potential property investors.

A poll of 2000 delegates from last year’s attendees to the Property Investor Show as well as visitors to the website suggests at least 60% of those questioned are now thinking or buying property abroad as an investment. At least one-third of those questioned say they would also consider buying and moving overseas because the cost of living is lower and the quality of life is better.
