Alliance & Leicester has launched a new fax system to speed up packaging for brokers and their clients.

The ifax system allows brokers to fax documents to Alliance & Leicester, before converting them to electronic formats which can be sent via e-mail. Alliance & Leicester says the system is superior to postal applications as it avoids the risks of losing paperwork, as well as being a much quicker way to submit documentation. The system also produces much clearer documents than a standard fax printout, reducing the need for processing staff to check details.
