AMI launches mortgage intermediary census

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has launched a mortgage intermediary census.

The new monthly study will focus on understanding the opinions and intentions of AMI members who account for 70% of the industry. Each month AMI will survey members on a range of issues. The first topic the Mortgage Intermediary Census will be addressing is adviser’s views of FSA regulation. AMI says that after six months in the new regime, it is fair to ask: whether the benefits have been worth the cost and whether regulation is improving customer perceptions of the industry.
