Online underwriting is next target for Progress

Progress from Royal Liver is considering developing online applications and underwriting which could be intuitively tailored to match the age, sex and medical conditions of the person applying for the protection product.

Speaking at the company’s London roadshow yesterday, Debbie Smith, who joins Progress from Royal Liver in two weeks time as chief underwriting officer, said some of the developments the company is currently considering is the tailoring of client applications to capture information based specifically on the circumstances of their lives, and which are more likely to meet their own requirements.
