SAINSBURY'S, the supermarket, is moving further into financial services following the launch of its own health insurance policy through its banking division, says this morning's Scotsman newspaper.
Specifics of the plan are designed to "complement the NHS", says the Scotsman, and cover consumers for "things"” people generally have to wait for. According to Sainsbury’s health insurance manager, Mark Sim, the package only asks consumers 'to pay for what they need'. Health covers start at £20 a month and is said to cost around £28.46 a month for a single woman aged 32. EQUITABLE LIFE’S directors have now asked its own solicitors to find grounds under which IT can sue the government for failing to properly regulate the society, says this morning’s Times.
