Rightmove offers homes on the move

Property portal Rightmove.co.uk has struck a deal with mobile phone network provider O2 to give subscribing consumers access to property data through mobile phones.

The deal will enable consumers using imode capable handsets to access estate agents’ lists, including full colour photographs, offering a different channel from newspapers or high-street office windows. Rightmove says the new channel options should enable estate agents to tap into “closer relationships with increasingly mobile consumers.” O2 for its part says it picked Rightmove because of its claimed 60% market share for showing properties listed in the UK.
