Bankhall founders pick Webline platform for GI business

Webline, the quotes provider, has been picked by Bankhall founders Paul Hogarth and Simon Taylor to supply the ecommerce platform underpinning a new general insurance business rolling out in early 2006.

The platform will be both developed and hosted by Webline. Its rollout is currently focused on Bankhall's 7,000-plus members, with the intention of becoming a major distributor of mortgage and general insurance products in the adviser marketplace. Users will have access to protection quotes and electronic submission; ASU quotes and electronic submission; integrated links to Mortgage Brain and Trigold; and integrated links to home and contents insurance facilities.
