Legal & General has added two protection options to its existing quote and apply extranet as eight out of ten protection policies are now administered over the internet.

New monthly benefit family and personal income plans can now be administered through Online Protection, L&G’s protection extranet, along with mortgage payment protection insurance which could also include unemployment cover as an extra option. L&G says the number of protection applications processed online has increased by 10% to 80% of all new protection business is now received online. IFAonline
