Assureweb unveils annuity 'quick quote' service

Assureweb has strengthened its annuity proposition with the launch of a new 'quick quote' service.

The new service, which is free to advisers, includes postcode and smoker rates and will aid advisers with their initial product research for clients. The company is also developing a 'detailed quote' service which will be available early in 2009 and will support the full range of annuity quote options, including conventional and with-profits annuities. It will also allow advisers to obtain the best enhanced annuity rates for their clients by incorporating a comprehensive medical and lifestyle questionnaire.
