Official Treasury CTF site up by Friday

A new government website or new pages on the Treasury website should be available by Friday, devoted to the Child Trust Fund, a source has confirmed to IFAonline

The service was supposed to go live yesterday (Monday), but was delayed for unspecified reasons. The site should provide core information about the registration process for obtaining government funds, pledged in the Budget to kickstart CTF accounts. Average amounts from government will start at £250 for eligible children – backdated to 1 September, 2002, for children born on that or subsequent dates.
